Villeroy & Boch, a manufacturer of ceramic sinks since 1748, continues to be at the innovation forefront. This spring the TitanCeram sinks are in the spotlight. Why? The short answer is: they are beautiful and elegant; they are fashionable; they are durable and practical.<\/em><\/p>\n

TitanCeram \u2013 as the name suggests \u2013 is a ceramic mixture with added titanium. For years this material has been used to make sturdy and durable kitchen dishes, now this material is also used in the manufacturing of sinks.<\/p>\n

TitanCeram has many advantages over a classical ceramic sink: this material allows designing detailed, clear and sharp corners, straight walls, and precise contours. Walls can be thinner without compromising on sturdiness.<\/p>\n

Secondly, TitanCeram, like all ceramic sinks, is heat-resistant. One can put a hot saucepan on it with complete peace of mind. The material is also highly scratch-proof and hygienic. Thanks to CeramicPlus surface refinement, the surface becomes lyophobic (fat\/oil-repellent) and hydrophobic (water-repellent).<\/p>\n

Price-wise TitanCeram is surely more expensive than standard ceramics, but generally no more than by a third.<\/p>\n

Soon the new TitanCeram sink will be on display at the Aunman showroom. You can also find out about other Villeroy & Boch upgrades. For instance, a drain cover can now be added to the sink. This is very practical and allows to close off the sink drain, for example, when going away on holiday. In addition, it gives the sink a more aesthetic look. In addition to this, stainless steel strainers for two-bowl sinks are now available, which are perfectly suited for washing fruit and vegetables. Previously, these strainers were made of plastic. And if the mixer tap is in the way of a cupboard door or a window, there is an option for the tap to be easily pulled out of the way.<\/p>\n

Villeroy & Boch sinks are no longer just white or dark gray. For example, a sun-yellow and midnight-blue sinks can bring bright and bold colors into the kitchen. For those who would like a sink with a delicate silk patterned curtain-like feel \u2013 this is also possible.<\/p>\n
