On November 9, we officially opened the Estonian exclusive furniture brand Aunman showroom in Tallinn, at Pärnu mnt 126. We invited some wonderful people to the opening, and, it seems, the celebration was a success.
Three wine glasses broke that night, which gives us hope that Aunman will have plenty of luck as we enter the narrow market of exclusive furniture brands. Afterwards we had to wipe off lots of fingerprints that our guests left on Aunman crown jewels which will clearly set us apart from our competitors – natural stone worktops and high-quality Novy extractor fans.
The opening night hosts were the humorous and bright sister-brother duo Sandra Uusberg and Kristjan Üksküla. Greeting words were followed by the clinking of glasses and a speech by Aunman Marketing and Communication Manager Elke Aun.
The guest were greeted by everyone’s favorite chef Peeter Pihel, whose skillful hands always create the best and the most surprising dishes. This evening was not an exception. Quite the opposite, not often that one can witness a culinary comedy-drama, which is what unfolded between the chef and the hosts. The peculiar layout of the rooms was taken into account, and the show could be enjoyed via conveniently placed screens.
Looking at the food, it was clear that there was no danger of anything tragic or comic. The offered food was a delight for both the eyes and the taste. Of course, the delicacies were paired with a wine that was chosen with utmost precision. Those who had the courage and desire to work alongside the well-known chef were welcome to do so.
As no party can go without good food, a fine music choice is also important. This, too, was perfectly arranged, because Anna Põldoja and Erki Pärnoja are true professionals.
Thanks again for the glass shards, fingerprints and everything else! The sincere curiosity of our opening night guests about the story of how one simple Viljandi family was able to create an exclusive brand that can compete with the world’s top-class furniture makers, warmed our hearts for a long time after.
